Pond Algae Control Application
Temperature Guidance: While effective in various conditions. For optimal efficiency, apply when water temperatures are 60°F or higher.
Crucial Safety Rule: To protect your fish population from oxygen depletion caused by decaying vegetation, never treat more than 1/3 to 1/2 of the water body at one time, and wait at least 14 days between treatments.
Application Methods: Crystals can be applied by dissolving them in water and spraying the solution over the surface, broadcasting the granules directly from a properly equipped boat, or placing the crystals in burlap bags and dragging them through the water behind a boat.
