Pond Muck Removal

Reduction of muck and sludge in beach or pier areas has been a dream of pond and lake property owners for years.

Now, for the first time, we have a product that will reduce muck and sludge in beach or pier areas and will aid in cleaning up these areas for a reasonable cost.

Muck Doctor is a product from Sanco Industries that includes a large concentration of bacterial spores in an easy to use form.  Muck Doctor comes in a hard spike form that allows the homeowner to simply toss the spike into the water.  The spike does most of the hard work.  Once introduced to the water, the spike quickly sinks to the bottom and penetrates into the muck.  The spike then dissolves, releasing billions of spores into the muck.  The spores produce bacterial colonies that then begin to consume the muck.  In as little as 30 days, up to 6 inches of muck can be consumed by these hungry little colonies.

Muck Doctor contains enough product to effectively treat up to 50 feet of shoreline or 250 square feet around your pier area.  Muck Doctor is most effective when the water is warmer, at least 60 degrees F or more.

Muck Doctor is completely non-toxic and will not harm fish, pets or humans.  It simply consumes muck, then perishes once the muck levels are reduced.  Sanco has an entire line of bacteria based pond products; the amount of muck you need removed will determine which product you will need.
