Pond Dye Differences

21 Apr 2011

Pond dye is not always for just aesthetics but people want their pond a nice pretty color rather than a mucky brown look. Sanco Industries has a few different color options for your pond dye needs. The most popular pond dye is known as Crystal Blue.  Crystal Blue is made up of acid blue #9 that turns your water a beautiful deep blue color that will always get a second glance.

Sanco also offers a pond dye that mimics the tranquil hues of the ocean.  Ocean blue is a mixture of acid blue #9 and Soracid Yellow Tartrazine to make a little more natural yet still elegant color for your pond.

The newest color available to dye your pond is Black Out. Black Out is made up of a Soracid Black mixture to give your pond a deep, natural look.

Pond dyes are largely based on personal preference.  Any color pond dye will have similar effects, it’s up to you what you want your pond to look like.
