Human drinking water is constantly monitored and tested daily to make sure it is at the right quality for consumption.  The same constant care is not applied to livestock drinking water, but the quality of their drinking water should not be overlooked and is just as important to the quality of the livestock as any other part of their life.  Algae and weeds can start to grow in livestock drinking water and depreciate the quality of their water supply.

Stock Plex, a stock tank algae control product offered by Sanco Industries, is designed to keep livestock watering tanks free of algae and weeds.  It is a copper sulfate based blend that is safe for many animals including cattle, horses, and dogs.  It only takes a ¼ ounce to treat 250 gallons of water and can also be purchased in quart containers.  It would be a shame to spend money and time on beautiful livestock only to have them drinking dirty water.  Stock Plex will quickly and effectively take care of that issue in raising livestock.
