Effective Pond Management

Excessive sludge can fuel rampant pond weed and algal growth. Finding the root cause is in order. Look for improper drainage of nutrient-rich run-off entering your pond. This can be in the form of phosphate-rich fertilizer or the addition of organic waste (grass clipping for instance). Once removed, Sanco Industries has a few pond products that naturally remove the sludge buildup that remains.
