Deer Hunting Supplies

07 Dec 2010

What deer hunting supplies are in your backpack? I carry everything I could possibly need when it comes to deer hunting supplies. Having the necessary or even unnecessary hunting supplies in your gear bag can eliminate a lot of frustration in the woods. Sometimes, when you have to walk far distances to your stand or blind, you never want to have to go back to the truck to grab something you forgot.

Here is a list of what hunting supplies I have in my backpack: hunting caps, two pair of gloves, AA and AAA batteries, facemasks, multiple mouth calls, pack-rack, Thermocell with extra cartridges, multi-tool, numerous knives, extra sweatshirt and jacket, ground blind, binoculars, rangefinder, video camera, digital camera, cover scents, attractants, bow and gun hangers, and a foldable doe decoy.

There is now a new addition to my deer hunting supplies. It’s a tracking agent called Trax-Max. Manufactured by Sanco Industries, Trax-Max, is a highly visible blue liquid that is used to mark areas along your blood trail for easy backtracking. Trax-Max is a definite necessity for my deer hunting supplies.
