Tracking Agent

15 Sep 2011
The 2011 hunting season is just around the corner and it’s time to get your bow out and start shooting and make sure your hunting bag has all the necessities. A lot of people talk down tracking agents simply because they feel they have no need for it.

I like the fact that I can reach in my bag and pull out a product like Trax-Max that gives me a visible trail where I find blood. No, it’s not a blood illuminator but simply a staining agent so that you can easily see where you have been tracking your downed game. The whole reason for this product is so that if you feel you need to back out of the woods and give your downed game more time to expire so that you don’t keep kicking the animal up from bedding down causing a much more extensive track. If you’re using Trax-Max and you feel that you have already tracked quite a ways and you have noticed that the animal has bedded down more than once, then it would be a good idea to back out and give it more time. By doing this and using Trax-Max, you can come back the next day and easily find your way back to the last spot you found blood instead of crawling on your hands and knees again wasting more time. I appreciate tracking agents like this because it saves me time and frustration.
