Tips to Successfully Kill Duckweed

02 Sep 2012

Duckweed is an aquatic weed the marginally floats on the ponds surface.  The plant structure is comprised of tiny seed like leaves that are about the size of a pencil eraser or smaller.  The leaves have a small stem (1/4-1 inch) that hangs from the leaf.  The small size and ability to float freely on the surface is what makes duckweed difficult to kill.

Sanco knows that killing duckweed is no easy task.  Our Tsunami DQ is what we recommend to control your duckweed problems.  However, there is an art to killing duckweed and we have it down to a science.
