Roots in City Sewer Lines

07 Feb 2013

Everybody knows that septic tanks can back up and cause a dirty, expensive mess.  Septic tank owners need to take care of the tank by performing certain actions to ensure that nothing is going to lead to a septic clog and more importantly a septic back up.  However, city sewer lines can experience some of the same problems and need to be maintained as well.  One very destructive problem that can occur in both septic tanks and city sewer lines is the growth of tree roots inside either septic tanks or sewer lines.  Sanco Industries offers a product that will attack and destroy invasive tree roots inside city sewer lines.

Root Destroyer is a copper sulfate based product that will kill dangerous and pesky roots inside city sewer pipes without doing any harm to the tree above ground.  The best part is how easy Root Destroyer is to use.  Root Destroyer is simply poured into the toilet bowl that is nearest the sewer line in ½ pound increments and flushed down the toilet.  This process is to be repeated until the recommended dose has been added.  Only roots inside the sewer lines will be destroyed, everything else will be left unharmed and exactly as it was before.

For any questions on the effects invasive roots can have inside city sewer lines or about Root Destroyer please contact Sanco Industries today.
