Root Destroyer Can Help With Sewer Line Clogs

22 Nov 2012
Tree roots will seek out ample supplies of nutrients in order to grow as big as possible. Unfortunately, this typically means that they’ll seek out and invade your sewer pipes, as they are extremely rich sources of these nutrients. The roots will naturally gravitate towards this source, and begin to try to punch through to the inside of them. Once they find a weak point in the pipe, they’ll begin to grow, clogging the pipe and slowing down the water flow.

There are a number of ways to fight against this invasion once it’s started. The problem is that they don’t typically prevent them from growing back fully, leading to future blockages. That’s where our specially formulated Root Destroyer comes in. Simply pour it down the drain that is closest to the clog when you know that the household won’t be using much water (before work/school or right before bed). It’ll go to work on pushing the roots back out of the pipe, and provide a barrier that will help to prevent the roots from coming back. You simply need to reapply Root Destroyer once or twice a year, depending on the aggressiveness of the tree species.
