Sanco Industries handles several products that are regulated by the EPA. Typically products that are regulated by the EPA make some sort of kill claim. For example, Crystal Plex makes a claim to kill algae.
Certain states are much more restrictive than others and require users to carry permits or to be licensed. We had a very interesting scenario the other day where our product was registered in the state, but a county within the state carried restrictions.
How could this be?
Basically, the state has approved the use/sale of our product with no restrictions, but each county can apply local restrictions that are stricter than the state. So technically it is possible that you can legally use/sale some of our products according to your state but your county may insight restrictions on a local level.
If a pond owner suspects there local agencies have restrictions you may want to contact your local DNR or a like source to check.
