Pond Maintenance Starts with Choosing the Right Aquatic Chemicals

If you have a pond or small lake on your property, you know that maintaining it throughout the year can be a pretty intimidating task. We at Sanco understand the challenges that can arise, and we’ve developed a variety of aquatic chemicals that will help ease the burden. We have products that can help you fight aglae, muck buildup, underwater weeds, and all sorts of pond problems.
If you’re pond is suffering from muck problems, our line of beneficial pond bacteria is simple to apply and will get started on breaking it down quickly. By getting rid of this muck and sludge, you’re eliminating a potential nutrient hot spot for weeds and algae to feed off of.
Speaking of alage and invasive weeds, we have the products to help you get rid of them as well. You’ll want to start by identifying which weeds you have, as that will dictate the proper product to help fight them. You also want to make sure that the weed you want to get rid of is actually a problem for your pond, or if it can be beneficial.
Once you have your pond properly treated for all of the problems it’s experiencing, you’ll then want to top off your treatment session with a pond dye in the color of your choice. We have a royal blue color called Crystal Blue, a nice turquoise color reflective of the open sea called Ocean Blue, and a dye that will give your pond a sleek, shiny, mirrored surface called Black Out.
