Pond Maintenance 101

If you are a pond owner I’m sure you take note of bodies of water wherever you go.  Maybe you are a pond owner that envies those ponds that are clean and clear…or maybe your pond is the envy of all the surrounding pond owners.  Either way pond maintenance takes a significant amount of work up front, but just like anything else in life when you put in the hard work early you will be able to enjoy the results later. 

Pond maintenance consists of applying pond dye like Sanco’s Crystal Blue.  We have several different options to choose from.

• Ocean Blue
• Black Out

The other important pond maintenance step is applying beneficial pond bacteria.  Natural Pond Cleaner is a maintenance dose of pond bacteria.  We also have concentrated forms of bacteria that work great for beach and dock areas.
