Pond Fountains vs. Pond Aerators

Many products are sold to enhance both the beauty and health of your pond.  Sanco Industries offers products that work on both levels.  Products such as pond dye can make ponds healthier as they also clear up the water to become more aesthetically pleasing.  However, some products are used for mostly aesthetic benefits while others are used for mostly maintaining the overall health of a pond.  This is the distinction that some do not make between pond fountains and pond aerators. 

Aerating a pond is an extremely important step that is taken to ensure pond water is getting enough oxygen which promotes the health of wildlife in the pond.  Sanco Industries sells aerators to improve the health of ponds.  Another product sold by Sanco that some may think are doing the same job as an aerator because of its similar appearance while in action is a pond fountain.  Pond fountains are almost strictly sold for enhancing the aesthetic qualities of ponds without making much improvement to the overall health of the pond.  While pond fountains may do a tiny bit of aerating, a pond aerator is really needed to fully aerate a pond and receive the benefits that aerating a pond can give to the health of the pond.
