Pond Dye Application Tips

Sanco Industries manufactures 3 different colors of pond dye.

Crystal Blue

Ocean Blue

Black Out

All three colors come in gallon jugs and treat approximately 1.5 million gallons of water.  The pond dye is so concentrated it is important to be cautious when applying to avoid staining on surrounding landscape, rocks, or yourself.  Here are some tips to successfully apply your pond dye.

1. Wear rubber gloves
2. Pour evenly and slowly to avoid gurgling
3. Pour close to the water surface to avoid splashing

If the pond dye does get on your skin use a 50/50 bleach water mixture to clean your hands.  Your nail beds may remain stained for several days but there are no adverse effects.  For more information on Sanco’s pond dyes contact our helpful staff.
