Pond Algae Control: Crystal Plex

Algae growth is a common problem in ponds across the United States.  Sanco has the product to help you combat this common pond nuisance.  Crystal Plex is a liquid copper sulfate that will control many types of algae including but not limited to:

·         Chara

·         Filamentous

·         Planktonic

Use Crystal Plex at the rate of 1 gallon to every acre with an average depth of 1-3 feet deep to control your pond algae.  Visit our pond measurement page for help calculating the size of your pond.  Algae treatments should only be done on a portion of the pond at a time waiting about 7 days between treatments to avoid oxygen depletion.   Spray applications are the most effective and you will notice results within 48 hours. Crystal Plex is safe for swimming, fishing, and livestock consumption after application.
