Maintaining Your Manure Pit

After a manure pit is pumped it is very important to establish and maintain a healthy bacteria count.  The proper level of digestive bacteria increases percolation and reduces solids within your manure pit.  Sanco’s new product, Lagoon and Pit Excavate Maintenance, establishes and maintains a high bacteria count when applied weekly during wash downs.  Simply pour Lagoon and Pit Excavate Maintenance on the floor during wash down.  Lagoon and Pit Excavate Maintenance will then be carried into your manure pit where it will continue to break down solids.
