Lake Front Weed Treatment

28 Apr 2014

Lake front property owners frequently question if they can treat lake water with products. Legally speaking, lake front property owners are allowed to treat a 625 square foot area in the water. Thankfully, this allows for the treatment of those pesky weeds that accumulate by beach areas and docks. To control lake weeds and take back your family’s beach time fun, use Tsunami DQ and Catt Plex.

If submerged weeds are the biggest problem, then using Tsunami DQ is the solution.  Tsunami DQ’s unique formula will clear up your lake front.  Some submerged weeds that are effectively controlled by Tsunami are water hyacinth, American pondweed, slender leaf pond weed, and coontail.

Emerged lake weeds may also be a problem. If this is the case, use Catt Plex to eliminate them. Cattails, water lilies, and other emerged weeds are very common occurrences at the lake, which creates a problem when the family tries to enjoy the water. Catt Plex is a glyphosate based herbicide and takes care of emerged weeds to the root.

Take back your lake front the safe and easy way, by using Tsunami DQ and Catt Plex to make your lake front weed free and beautiful.  Contact Sanco for more information on our lake weed control products or if you are interested in our lake treatment service.
