Keep Roots out of your Pipes with Root Destroyer

27 Jan 2013
Tree roots have been the bane of many home owners’ septic lines for decades. They are constantly seeking out rich sources of nutrients and water, and plumbing pipes are prime sources for both of these. The root system will slowly grow towards any hairline cracks and fractures, and they’ll work their way inside. After they wiggle their way in, the root will quickly grow and spread their tiny, hair-like tendrils until your pipe is fully clogged.

So what options do you have to clear out your pipes and return your water flow to its standard operating status? You can use a mechanical rooter to chop up the roots in your pipe to create a very temporary solution, you can replant the entire tree which can run you a lot of money, or you can simply use our Root Destroyer.

Root Destroyer is specially designed to attack the roots at their source, and then create a barrier against further invasions. It does this by applying copper sulfate to the root, and it will seep through the crack created by them to treat the soil around it. The roots will then steer clear of this treated dirt, as copper sulfate and plants don’t mix. A simple treatment once or twice a year will keep your water flowing freely with no large amounts of time or expense required from you.
