Hunting Season

The 2011 hunting season is finally arrived.  Many hunters, like me, have been prepping for months to ensure they are ready for opening day.  One reason for all the prep time is simply because I’m like a child waiting for Christmas morning, but the other reason is because I want to make sure I’m familiar with my gear and feel comfortable that I have everything I will need on my first day out.  

I fine tune my bow to make sure I’m accurate from every desired distance.  Next, I take inventory of every item in my gear bag.  There is a new addition to my gear bag, Trax-Max blood trail marker.  Trax-Max is a tracking agent that you spray on the ground or on debris along your blood trail in case you feel you need to back out and come back later that day or the next morning. It is perfect for backtracking so you don’t have to try and find the blood trail on your hands and knees again. Trax-Max temporarily stains any surface blue so you have a highly visible trail.
