Fight Rust with Rust Kutter

06 Dec 2012
Everyone who’s had any experience with accidentally leaving gardening equipment and other items with metal parts out in the weather knows that rust can start to form quicker than you’d like.  And once something begins to rust, its structural integrity begins to degrade. This will eventually lead to the breakdown of the item, and the need to replace it. This can be a minor inconvenience, such as a small spade, all the way to a major investment, such as a rod iron fence.

What options do you have once this process starts? How can you shore up your metal so that the chemical reaction doesn’t continue? We here at Sanco have developed a product that can help you put a stop to rust, and hopefully prolong the life of your metal. We call it Rust Kutter.

Simply clean the loose rust off the surface of your metal with a stiff, wire brush. Next, you’ll apply Rust Kutter to the affected area, and let it dry completely. Once dry, rinse and wipe off any excess residue. The rust should be a solid black now, and ready for you to apply a coat of paint or two to bring it back to its former glory.
