Beneficial Pond Bacteria: Muck Doctor

Sanco’s concentrated beneficial pond bacteria, Muck Doctor, is getting excellent reviews.  Many of our customers that have used it in their ponds and lake front properties have noticed a drastic decrease in the amount of muck around beach and dock areas.  

·         One lake front property owner discovered a large post at the end of his dock that he never knew was there.  The Muck Doctor ate so much of the sludge the post was revealed!

·         Another customer had to adjust their Jet Ski lift because the Muck Doctor consumed such a significant amount of muck under the lift that the lift was tilted!

How it works:

Muck Doctor is a highly concentrated multi-strain bacteria that has been compressed into a dry spike for easy application.  The bacteria in Muck Doctor produce an enzyme.  The enzyme then goes to work breaking down the sludge and muck on the pond/lake floor.  Once the material is broken down the bacteria will consume the sludge and muck.  The bacteria turn the muck into several byproducts…CO2, water, and a very small fraction of their own waste.
