The 5 step process has varying starting points, depending on what type of activity your pond is experiencing. You always start by taking stock of what type of weeds and plants you may be seeing grow. Emerging weeds are treated first with an application of Catt Plex, followed by a treatment of Tsunami DQ to take care of any underwater plant growth. Top it off with a treatment of Crystal Plex to help control your algae growth and you should be off to a great start.
Once the plant life is under control, it’s time to start looking to your muck buildup. With an application of Natural Pond Cleaner, you’ll be able to start breaking down the muck and sludge buildup that's occurred over the fall and winter months. Finish off your maintenance with a pond dye in the color of your choice, and your pond should be good to go for the majority of the season.
