Roots in Sewer Line

19 Jun 2012

Do you sometimes go into your bathroom or kitchen and it is malodorous? Do you have to continuously plunge your toilet? If this is a constant problem, it may not just be the common hair clogged drain; it may be a deeper issue. You may have roots in your sewer line.

Oftentimes, our plumbing pipes get a few cracks or breaks in them, and as a result tree roots fill into those cracks. When you have roots in a sewer line they have the tendency to grow as big as the pipe itself, thus creating a nearly impossible passage-way for water and waste products.

Root Destroyer by Sanco Industries kills off the roots and prevents future invasions without damaging the health of the tree. Once the roots in a sewer line have accumulated a sufficient amount of the copper sulfate that is in our Root Destroyer, the roots will then begin to decay quickly and water will begin to flow as normal. It is highly recommended to do follow up treatments as tree roots have the propensity to grow back.

Roots in a sewer line create unwanted problems; contact Sanco Industries today to help prevent them.
