Duckweed is probably one of the most difficult pond problems to tackle when it comes to growth problems in a pond. We have given a lot of advice about how to control duckweed. We do our best to manage the pond owner’s expectations while keeping them encouraged and hopeful. We can give all the advice in the world, but it is up to the pond owner to buy the correct amount of product, implement necessary environmental changes, and apply the chemicals to solve their pond problem.
Customers with a pond problem like duckweed will often times use too little product not frequently enough, which ultimately ends up taking them longer and costing more money. We are delighted when we get a customer who followed our instructions and guess what…their pond problem was solved! We are even more excited when the customer sends us pictures that document the progress of the pond.
We had a customer with a duckweed problem. The pond had been neglected for a while, was surrounded by trees, and was an overall mess. We advised him of what to use and how much (Tsunami DQ, Clipper, and Crystal Plex). And below are the results of his duckweed pond problem.
