Maintain Your Septic System

Sanco has two septic maintenance products that will help keep your septic tank in tip-top shape. Root Destroyer and Septi-Cleaner are Sanco's septic maintenance products that attack two different but common septic problems.

Root Destroyer is a copper sulfate product that will break down hair-like roots that have found their way into septic lines. These hair-like roots can grow into larger roots or begin to catch toilet paper, which eventually leads to a clog and a septic backup. The copper is absorbed by the fine roots and the roots will slowly disintegrate leaving the tree unharmed.

Septi-Cleaner is a liquid bacteria product that aids in the breakdown of septic waste. Septic tanks have to be pumped out on occasion, however, using products like Septi-Cleaner can allow longer spans of time between septic pumping.

Both Root Destroyer and Septi-Cleaner are easily applied by pouring product down the toilet nearest your septic tank and flushed. It is advised to use both of these products when leaving for work or a long weekend for best results. Flushing too frequently after applications may was the product out of the lines or tank.
