Identify Aquatic Weeds

17 Jul 2014

One step that lots of pond owners do not understand in controlling the growth of weeds in his or her pond is properly identifying the weed.  When spraying for weeds in a yard or a garden one can simply purchase an all out weed destroyer and go on spraying on anything that resembles a pest.  In a pond the process is not as simple.  Certain weeds react differently to certain chemicals and that is why Sanco Industries has created different pond weed killers to deal with each and every individual pest to a pond.

Properly identifying which pond weed is being treated is almost as important as the treatment itself.  Without knowing exactly which weed is being treated it makes it difficult to pick the correct product for the treatment.  Someone that properly identifies duckweed as being the main problem in his or her pond will use Tsunami DQ to effectively get rid of the problem.  Even if the pond owner doesn’t know what to use they can call us, as long as they have their weed identified and we can advise them of the proper product.

For any questions on properly identifying pond weeds and how to deal with the weed once it is identified please contact Sanco Industries today.
