Catt Plex is an approved aquatic herbicide not containing any surfactants. Roundup and many other herbicides contain surfactants that are toxic to wildlife. Fish and invertibrates are especially sensitive when exposed. A specifically formulated aquatic surfactant, such as Plex mate, is highly recommended to aid in the absorption of the chemical into the plant.
