Rust Kutter uses a balanced formula that causes rust to chemically change to a phosphate, turning the metal black or chalky white depending on conditions. A coat of paint then uniformly attaches itself so to the metal that moisture and oxygen cannot attack the surface, which results in a much longer lasting finish.
